FCYG
(FAITH CHAPEL YOUTH GROUP)

HOW WE STARTED:

Hi Everyone! We started this ministry in summer of 2019. One of the youth leader's (Sarah) had a burden to start something with the youth. Little did we know that, an intern from Texas would come up to our church and help. Sarah, Emily, and Olivia have been doing this for a little over 3 years now! We definitely have learned so much not only as leaders but about ourselves. We believe in the next generation and the generations to come! Our job as leaders is to empower, encourage and equip the ones in front of us.


WHERE DO WE MEET:

What started in a leader's home has now moved into a church building. We meet every other Saturday from 5PM-8PM.


WHAT DO WE DO:

First, we eat pizza; because who doesn't love pizza!  Next, we have a game/ activity, then we move into a time of worship. Secondly, we have message by Olivia. Lastly, we leave it open for the Holy Spirit to do what He wants. These times consist of praying over one another, discussing the message together, or just sitting in His presence.

Ages: 11-Up


Grades: 6th -12th
